We’d like to make a change based on an RCA we recently did.

I’d like to have our lines not be able to be put into auto whilst the HMI say’s changeover in progress.

This would prevent the team from putting the line into run before all of the different equipment has loaded the new format.

I already talked this through with Lenin, was hoping he could do this change whilst he is here this week.

Propuesta a Lenin:

Creo que una posible solución sería bloquear simplemente la funcionalidad de "Start Cycle_ON" mientras la señal de "Changeover" está activa. De este modo, si se realiza un pequeño cambio durante la producción, el proceso no se detendrá. Sin embargo, si se ha realizado un cambio de formato significativo, habrán tenido que parar la línea de producción. Cuando deseen reanudar el proceso productivo, el botón de "Start" no funcionará hasta que finalice completamente el "Changeover".

Además, podriamos incluir un temporizador de 30 segundos que, si se mantiene presionado el botón de inicio, realice un bypass de dicho bloqueo. Esa información no se compartiría con nadie para que los operadores no lo sepan. De esa forma, si algún día se presenta una situación urgente donde se necesite iniciar el sistema y el cambio no ha terminado, podes decirles de hacer esto.
