PROBLEM: Need to Rephase
BROKEN DOWN:
If both sides are not in phase, as shown in the next picture, they must be rephased.
POSSIBLE CAUSE OR PROCEDURE FOR FAULT DETECTION:
After changing the belts or another mechanical component, the phase between both endless screws must be checked.
SOLUTION:
- Remove both endless screws.
- Tension the belt so it is ready to run.
- Rotate the shaft coupling to the phase mark as shown in the picture.
- Loosen the bolts to allow the rephasing of the shaft coupling.
- Rotate the loose shaft to match the phase mark.
- Both shafts must match the phase mark. If necessary, it's possible to jump one hole.
- Tighten the bolts.
- Reinstall the screws.
