I have done this with Danfoss VLT inverters multiple times. Here the general rule is to double the current in the inverter parameters, and running a limited auto-tuning on the motors once connected to the VLT. Also, of course, the inverter should be capable of delivering max current to both motors (so double the motors’ current/kW limit).
