### **PROBLEM:** Need to Rephase
|
|
|
|
#### **BROKEN DOWN:**
|
|
If both sides are not in phase, as shown in the next picture, they must be rephased.
|
|
|
|
#### **POSSIBLE CAUSE OR PROCEDURE FOR FAULT DETECTION:**
|
|
After changing the belts or another mechanical component, the phase between both endless screws must be checked.
|
|
|
|
#### **SOLUTION:**
|
|
|
|
1. Remove both endless screws.
|
|
2. Tension the belt so it is ready to run.
|
|
3. Rotate the shaft coupling to the phase mark as shown in the picture.
|
|
4. Loosen the bolts to allow the rephasing of the shaft coupling.
|
|
5. Rotate the loose shaft to match the phase mark.
|
|
6. Both shafts must match the phase mark. If necessary, it's possible to jump one hole.
|
|
7. Tighten the bolts.
|
|
8. Reinstall the screws.
|
