- RSLogix Project Migrator
- Convert 3 Rockwell SLC 505 PLC to Contrologix.
- Transport PLC QT1(keep existing 1734 remote I/O but convert from Device Net to ethernet communications)
- Robot 1 PLC QR1 (keep existing 1734 remote I/O but convert from Device Net to ethernet communications)
- Robot 2 PLC QR2 (keep existing 1734 remote I/O but convert from Device Net to ethernet communications) ( Program will be similar to Robot 1)
- Convert all Rockwell Device Net to Ethernet. Barilla will be responsible for all wiring changes. The following list is the device Net components:
- Power Flex 70 VFD drives.
- 1734 remote I/O
- Robots
- All Panel View stations are using ethernet communications and will remain the same.
- There are 4 electrical cabinets as follows:
- QT1 – Main PLC cabinet for transport located near case packers.
- QT2 – Remote cabinet for transport located in warehouse near robots 1 and 2.
- QR1 – Robot 1 PLC
- QR2—Robot 2 PLC
- I will provide a link, so you receive a copy of the prints.
- QR1 and QT1 and QT2 are combined in a single file.
- QR2 is a separate file.
• Replace old Rockwell SLC 505’s (3 total) with new Contrologix 1756-L82E or –L83E • Convert SLC programs (3 total) to Contrologix. Robot 1 and Robot 2 PLC programs are similar. • Keep existing point I/O but replace Device Net communication module with Ethernet • Replace all HIM with Touch Screen HIM 2711P-T10C22D9P • Remove any Device net communication and replace with Ethernet • Convert robots to Ethernet communication • Replace all VFD drives with AB 525 series • Provide Barilla with hardware parts list for conversion • Increase SKU memory in PLC to minimum of 300 • Give possible suggestion for improvements to system • List any possible software/firmware changes to Robots • Provide a quote for conversion by February 2022 • Provide a timeline for conversion to determine downtime • Update prints. Barilla will provide PDF copy of existing prints.
